Keare est un jeune paysan propulsé héros guérisseur suite à l’apparition d’une marque sur sa main. Malheureusement pour lui le voilà exploité horriblement par ses compagnons héros et par le royaume ; drogué, humilié, et violé constamment, Keare est un être brisé ne souhaitant que la vengeance.
Cette chance lui est offerte lorsqu’il comprend que son pouvoir de guérison lui permet en réalité de contrôler les états des éléments (pouvant ainsi faire réapparaître un membre coupé ou pourrir instantanément un corps). Bien décidé à se venger et utilisant ses pouvoirs à son maximum il « rétablit » le monde et le propulse quatre ans en arrière (annulant tous les événements menant à sa déchéance) le jour exact où tout a commencé.
Cette fois, Keare compte bien faire payer à tous ceux qui l’ont privé de sa vie.
