Mitsugu Bamba est une lycéenne trouvant un sens à sa vie dans le don du sang. Un jour, alors qu’elle se rend dans une banque de sang comme à son habitude, elle fait la rencontre d’une fille qui semble être étrangère. Même si cette dernière semble être sur le point de s’évanouir, elle commence subitement à détruire la banque de sang.
Mai Vlad Transylvania, l’étrangère, perd conscience et Mitsugu décide de l’emmener chez elle. C’est ainsi que débute cette étrange relation entre une vampire et une humaine ayant pour passion de donner son sang.
