Dans Steven Universe, le monde est protégé des forces maléfiques par les Gemmes de Cristal, un groupe de guerrières intergalactiques. Les quatre Gems incluent Garnet, Améthyst, Perle et Steven. Steven est un jeune garçon ayant hérité d’une Gemme de sa mère, une Gemme de cristal appelée Rose Quartz.
